Review: Shame, Shame, Shame

Dir: Didn’t catch it

Cast: No one you ever heard of.

Category: Indie

Reviewed By: Clay

Plot: Sex, Lies and VideoTape…. With an art school twist. Grad-student is interviewing people about the most intimate parts of their lives. Most end up nude in the end.

DVD Special Features: Not available on DVD.

The Good: This flick has plenty of nudity and will thrill every voyeur out there. Some of the nudity is scary but hey we are not all super models.

For an Indie film this one has decent production value and the acting is not all-bad. It is a pretty film to watch.

The Bad: The main character in the movie is the queen of voyeurism but we never see her naked even in her two or three sex scenes. Maybe her holding back is part of the point or maybe the actress in question in really an Artist and above the nasty stuff.

You can’t watch this film and not compare it to Sex Lies and VideoTape. Unfortunately it pales in comparison.

My biggest problem with this film is that it moves slowly and I never really get to attach to the characters. It’s implied that they all have a lot going on but the internal conflicts are to slow in developing.

I was very disappointed that the main character bailed out of her chance for a threesome with two of her subjects. Great sexual tension (except for the guy in high heels) but it all flames out.

Bottom Line: If you are too young to rent porn and need a breast fix go for it.

Rating: One cocktail.
