Review: Bleed

Dir: Devin Hampton

Cast: Debbie Ronchon and the faceless and nameless

Category: Horror

Reviewed By: Clay

Plot: Sean has a new girl friend and takes her to a pool party to meet his friends. During the party the girl friend is invited to join their murder club. Let the killings begin.

DVD Special Features: Color, Closed-captioned, Widescreen, Theatrical trailer(s), Widescreen letterbox format. Theatrical trailer(s), Deleted Scenes, Screen tests.

This movie was so bad I had to watch some of the extras. The crazy thing was the screen tests were better than the actual acting.

The Good: Devin attempted to give a scary sex and violence horror movie. There is lots of nudity (more on that later).

The most impressive thing about this movie is Debbie Ronchon. I am not talking about her acting, looks or body. No I am talking about her filmography. She has been in over 90 horrible horror movies. I am surprised that I didn’t recognize her but her filmography is quite the master piece.

The Bad: Ok so Devin attempted to cram all the nudity he could into this movie. Unfortunately he made to horrible mistakes; the female talent was second rate at best, which I can deal with. The unforgivable part is the number of naked men in this movie. For every naked woman you see there are two shots of naked man ass. Maybe Devin was looking to break into the gay horror genre; who knows but it’s a nightmare to experience.

The man ass problem is just a distraction to how bad this movie really is. Nothing about this movie works. Its not scary, there is no suspense and none of the characters are likable. Even the blood scenes are poorly done.

What I really want to know is how many of these actors/actress were making porn the week before this movie shot. That’s the only place you will find worse acting.

Bottom Line: If you like man ass you will love this film. If not leave it on the shelf.
