Every time a new Brad Pitt movie comes out I have to listen to the same old crap. " I would see Snatch but I am not a big Brad Pitt fan". Usually it' s guys who make this statement, as if liking one of Brad' s movies will make them a homo. Most of Brad Pitt' s movies rock. Yes, he is better looking than you (get over it), yes, your woman would sleep with him, but his movies are worth watching.

The bottom line is Brad has been in 29 movies since 1990. He is a working machine. There seems to be a schitzo split in his movie portfolio. There are the pretty boy roles that he takes (Meet Joe Black, The Devil' s Own, Seven Years in Tibet) and most of these are the ones that have the scorn heaped upon them. Piss on these bad films all you want, they suck, but everyone has a few dogs in his past.

The other side of Brad' s movies is where all the good stuff lies. Brad has been in some of the darkest and greatest movies in the last ten years. He has been great in supporting actor roles such as 12 Monkeys and Snatch. Brad has also shown that he can do it as a lead man in movies such as Seven, Fight Club and Kalifornia.

Grab the reissued DVD version of Seven and watch that bad boy. What a great film. It comes with a few alternate endings and the whole thing rocks. Follow that up with Kalifornia. Brad plays the most convinceing serial killer I have seen in a long time. He doesn' t play the evil genius serial killer (ala Hannibal Lector), he plays the more real and twisted serial killer. Kalifornia is a must-rent for thriller fans, but most people pass it by at the video store because they have never heard of it and don' t like Brad Pitt. Trust me on this, it' s a good one.

Average movie viewers seem to miss all of Brad' s good work because they are going to see the chick flick version of Brad, who totally sucks. Most guys need to see the dark side of Brad, and they will be become fans. Don' t worry guys, you wont be a homo if you like Brad Pitt.

The greatest part about Brad Pitt is your girlfriend, wife, or lover will all let you rent a Brad Pitt movie. The have him pegged as a chick flick guy. The next thing you know you and the honey are watching Fight Club and having a great time. Exploit Brad' s chick flick status to rent gritty films that your woman would never have approved of had it not been for Brad. Best part is, when its all over you both will have liked it.
