Plot: Hackers, hot chicks, and bitchin guns. That’s what’s Swordfish is all about. It’s essentially a heist film with a heavy hacker twist. DVD Special Features: Color, Closed-captioned, Widescreen,
Dolby,Theatrical trailer(s), 2 Behind-the-Scenes Documentaries: The
Making of "Swordfish" and The Effects in Focus, Feature-Length
Commentaries, 3 Alternate Endings, Hidden Features, DVD-Rom Features,
Widescreen anamorphic format. Good special features. Nice director’s commentary and I liked the
alternate endings. The alternate endings aren’t real flashy but they show
interesting possibilities. No doubt they used the better version in the
film. The Good: The opening scene in this movie rocks. The first 10 minutes
are so wicked that its perfect. John Travolta is at his very best. It’s a
very smart scene and John makes some great movie references. Yes Halle Barry is nude in this movie. Yes she is amazing but oddly the
nudity seemed out of place in the scene it ended up in. Halle looks
amazing in this whole movie and the nudity didn’t do anything make her any
sexier. While the movie lugs a little in the middle of the film it has a great
ending and in the end it’s a good action flick. The Bad: All hacker movies have bad tech plot points. Hacking is slow
and boring work but Hugh Jackmans character can hack government computers
at will. Computers make for boring plot drivers but you have to just get
over it. Bottom Line: Great beginning, slow middle, great finish
