Review: Small Time Crooks

Dir: Woody Allen

Cast: Woody Allen, Tracy Ulman, Hugh Grant

Category: Comedy

Reviewed By: Clay

Plot: Small time crook Woody Allen attempts one last big score. In doing so it is discovered that his wife Tracy Ulman makes awesome cookies. Millions are made and absolutely no laughs are had.

DVD Special Features:. Region 1 encoding (US and Canada only), Color, Closed-captioned, Widescreen.

The special features of this movie are as half assed as the rest of it. I think even Woody figured out this movie sucked and cut his losses. Why put any more effort into this crappy movie?

The Good: Absolutely nothing is good about this movie.

The Bad: I watch terrible movies every day. Really bad movies that you suspect were really written by a new breed of research monkey. I am ok with watching bad movies but this film pushed me to a new level of tolerance. It was all I could do not to turn this movie off. I watch all of Witchhouse II, and I nearly turned this movie off.

Who can Woody blame for this sucking? He wrote it, he directed it and was a really bad lead in it. Guess what Woody, your material is dated and you can’t pull it off like the good old days. Just because you married a teenager doesn’t mean you are one.

What’s really pathetic is all the members of this great cast had to kiss major ass to get a part in this movie. Everyone in the industry knows Woody doesn’t pay for shit and then he puts them in this heinous movie. If I were Hugh Grant I would kick his ass.

Bottom Line: I will personally kick your ass if you rent this movie.

Rating: four boxes of wine…
