Plot: Minnie is a beautiful girl living alone in the desert, looking for her family’s lost diamonds. Two convicts on the run from the law burst into her world of tranquility. Many plot twists follow in this tale of fate and corruption.

Nice features if you are a video tape.

The Good: There are many attempts to keep us on the edge of our seats. Unfortunately most of them fail. By the end of the movie you are still watching just to see how this train wreck ends. Did I mention that this is the good stuff?

The Bad: The whole cast overacts their transparent parts to ridiculous ends. James Spader sports a hideous accent--is it New York, is it Southern--hell, you could guess for days.

Minnie Driver manages to keep her clothes on for the whole movie. If there was a film that needed her naked in it, it would be this one.

Bottom Line: Walk away…. Don’t even rent it.
