Review: Fast and The Furious

Plot: This is a fast car and hot chick movie. There is a lame cops and robbers plot line that sets the stage for fast cars and hot chicks. I always laugh when the actors really try hard to deliver a shitty dramatic story line.

Lots of special features. If you dig cars some of them are worth watching. Deleted scenes don’t add a damn thing.

The Good: There are some great cars in this movie. Even if the asian racer look is not your thing, you have to appreciate some of these squirley rides. The race and chase scenes are well done.

Vin Diesel is the man. Beef cake for the chicks and a bad ass for the dudes. He will be big in action movies for years to come.

The Bad: So much sucks about this movie, its hard to begin. A totally clique plot is so weak it actually detracts from the action. The cast is good looking enough but the story is a total handicap.

I have to laugh at how hard this movie works at being cool. It feel like the director is attempting to make the American Graffi of his time. Unfortunately a chopped and lowered Honda Civic is not nearly as cool as a jacked up Chevy.

This movie needed nudity more than it needed its PG-13 rating. The director really pitched the faux sex bit but with out real T & A whats the point.

Bottom Line: If you are fifteen and really enjoy Honda Civics give it a look.
