The crush truly comes from the wieght of the special features. Tons of stuff and all much better than the movie itself. You can never argue with wipe out footage.
The Good:
Big waves and hot chicks work on some level. Its great to hear the surfer girls talk about handling the big pipe (they mean waves, but hey). If you need something more than talk of big pipe you may need more than Blue Crush.Break out the abdomolizer while watching this movie. Everyone in it is young hard and totally ripped. This movie has abs of steal.
The Bad:
No nudity, poor chemistry between love interests and a totally hollow plot. Can one sentence possibly say more about a movie?I like sports movies. The over come adversity and win the big one plot works so long as you follow the formula. Unfortunately this movie cuts corners and never develops anyone’s character to the point where you are interested in her success or failure.
We must give special mention to John Stockwell. Not only did he direct this train wreck but he also wrote. Sorry John its all your fault.
